like the kind of tired where you feel like you took way too much cold medicine. it was weird.
i’m not usually tired like that! i’m not usually tired at all unless you wake me up super early.
so i chatted and cuddled with stevo as he got in bed… and once he fell into his coma sleep
i was maybe a leeetle too excited to plop myself on the couch for just a bit and not. move. a muscle. so i sprawled myself on the couch… and after about 1 second of relaxation,
my phone lit up with a text message from my mom: “baby coming!!”
oooooh baby coming! off couch. jeans on. uggs on. grab coat. grab cam. sneak out. get in car.
and i floored it over to farmhome for the cu-u-utest, sweetest sight ever on this whole planet.
a new. born. foal. a little girl! experiencing her very first hour of life.
the man that boards his horses [including formerly preggo mare] on the farm next door to farmhome has had everyone on foal watch for over a week now. and she finally arrived!
precious baby fuzzy face was just learning to walk on those wobbly new legs of hers
and it took forever for her little hungry mouth to finally figure out how to nurse.
it was such a sweet and fascinating thing to watch. i was so excited i wasn’t even tired anymore!
welcome to the world, little baby fuzzywuzzy! so nice to finally meet you.
[i still can’t believe one horse can fit a whole horse inside of it like that. mind boggling!]
