i really don’t like rain.
i thought that mother nature was going to save this blah-feeling week with her rays of sunshine and glory. but no. she did the opposite. she blasted poor nashville yesterday with water and loud noises and weather advisories, and news alerts causing the normal happy girl me to quickly exit my body and queen anxiety panic irrational uglyface to take over. it seems that since may 2nd of last year, my body has been working behind the scenes to come up with a number of debilitating reactions to big spring rainstorms. ugh.
cue rainstorm. cue almost 1 year since the flood. cue anxiety levels and panic feelings and girl hastily elevating her personal items all by her lonesome like someone had a gun to her head.
or like water was entering her house.
there is no flood. there is no flood. there is no flood.
and i will not let the flood ghost control me. anymore. [i hope!]
and i will not let the flood ghost control me. anymore. [i hope!]
i just never want to see this happening around me ever. a. gain.

Oh no! 🙁 my brother's house flooded two years in a row, and 100's and thousands of dollars later, they are back in their home. Sending happy, warm sunshine your way! 🙂

Oh no, this is just awful. 🙁 I often say that I like the rain as long as I don't have to go out in it, and I'm snuggled inside….however if you have to deal with the rain JOINING you inside, I can imagine it would become very easy to hate the rain! I hope you can avoid terrible damages and wishing you all the best, sweet friend!
