last tuesday night,
my fam attended an event for our friend, zach wamp,
held at john rich‘s home here in nashville
and, you know, it was quite a lovely evening!

he has the most amazing rooftop view of nashvilleand the weather was just perfect for rooftopping.
husband dearest did not make the event that night.
instead he headed home, exhausted after a long day of work
[to farmhome, of course. floodhome is still very much out of commish.]
only to find himself locked out of the house. oooopsies! poor husband.
but he did a little climbing, snuck in through an inconvenient window, and it was all okay.
[well, i think husband was a teensy bit unhappy with wifey, but understandably so.]
my parents were celebrating their 25th wedding anniversary that same night.they enjoyed a little impromptu song dedication & dance moment a la mr. rich
which was so very sweet. 25 years is a wonderful thing to celebrate!
i also got to spend some much needed time with my little lady love, emily.[we had a little girldate to the midnight showing of eclipse later that night. i loved it. don’t get me started.]
then we celebrated the parents back at farmhome afterwardwith a little champagne and some bigfatyummy chocolatey chocolate chip muffins.
Oh my… you look breathtaking!!! And there are very few things I adore more than rooftop gardens… hope to have one one day for my own… 😀
