due to the flood monster attack back in may, i haven’t been able to paint in what feels like a big long long long longest eternity ever [although it’s probably only been about 3ish months].
the housey revamp has overtaken my brain, of course… and as i painted big test squares of sherwin-williams sample paints on large pieces of poster board last week, i realized how much i wanted to be in my arty zone bubble painting something for real!
so i’ve finally purchased a new easel… some new brushes… and my dearest darling friend, katie, was kind enough to contribute a big basket of paints right after mine died in the floodwaters. now i’m sure a visit from mr. inspiration will come soon enough… and how i hope his visit coincides with a call from mr. clarityofmind. and also mr. relaxation. and i really wouldn’t mind if mr. relaxation brought his bff, mr. glassofredwine.
til then, here are the two most recent little horsey numbers that i did just a few short/long months ago…
