have finally been filled with beautiful, clean drywall…
real, solid, dividing, insulated walls! yippy!
it feels just one teensy little bit more like a house again.

we’re pretty excited about new housey. housey 2.0.
it’s been fun to plan something fresh and different,
although we’d maybe forgotten how difficult paint color choices can be.
trying to match real life with the picture in my fairy tale brain
is always an interesting little challenge.
oh, new housey. we can’t wait to meet you
with your new floors and rugs and carpet and trim and walls and counters and cabinets and appliances and furniture! oh, and new stuff… someday we’ll have new stuff! randomly collected stuff to put in drawers and cabinets and closets in an organized fashion! and stuff that there’s no room for. stuff to throw away. like, what is all this stuff doing here?
