girls and wine and pretty vineyards and clouds and hills. such a fabulous evening.
we got to do the wine tasting this time, too. mmmm, i tasted all reds. my fav.
most importantly, there was a lot of laughter involved in the evening.
uncontrolled laughter. witness mine:
[katie was loaning me her braid so i could pretend to be a unicorn. i don’t see anything weird about this.]
it was the perfect way to clear my mind of paint colors and flooring
and furniture decisions and have some quality girlfriend time!

in important fluffy news,
sophie has confirmed my suspicion that she has no no no idea she’s a cat.
yes. this is the story of unrequited kitty bff love.
missy is a real cat who knows she’s a cat and she lives here at farmhome.
missy likes to lounge and meow and be cute and have her humans pet her,
but her need for other animal bonding is minimal. maybe non-existent.
sophie, on the other hand, thinks that they are major bff
and when missy makes big scary go away hissing growling noises at her,
sophie just thinks that they’re playing and having the best girl time convo and super bonding.
now sophie wants to be as close to missy as possible
so she hangs out on top of the glass table while missy sleeps on the chair underneath.
this arrangement appears to work for missy until sophie swats at her from above.
and this has become my latest most fav fluffy entertainment.
sophie has so much bff love in her eyes and missy’s just like ugh whatev.
but it makes me happy that my little foofs don’t know what they are.
they’re pampered little cuddlebugs and that’s all they need to know.
it’s much more fun that way.
but wait, maybe i’m not a human? no i am. i definitely am.

I love this post, you are so much fun! The day at the vineyards sounds A-mazing. I love wine so so much, and this seems like the perfect day. Hilarious photo and even more hilarious story about your cute little animals! Just adorable! I had a tiny beagle puppy before we moved to Italy and she had no idea that she was a small dog. She liked to run with the big dogs, and would end up getting trampled on..this story reminded me of her. 🙂 Have a lovely evening!
xoxo
