little baby bloomy

it’s a rainy day in nash today. which is gross. and causes me big floody paranoia.

but… i woke up this morning to one particular little happy
that’s made my day so super delightful…
eeee! behold: my very first blossom on my little baby african violet…

yay! i’m such a proud flower mom.
my sweet little african violet started out last summer as just a baby leaf clipping
from the pretty mama plant that my grandmother has up in pittsburgh.
she’s been growing and growing and growing…
and i’ve been obsessively waiting for bloomies to pop out…
[especially now that the rest of my flowers are all floody and sad]
so, it reeeally made me smile to finally wake up to a happy little flower…
and it looks like there are 9 more little pretties waiting to pop out!
oh, little baby african. i am so pleased with you.
